The overall DC Output Quality of the MkII 950W is a pass, however the results are not that good relatively speaking. The 12v rail showed a peak trace amplitude of 70mV while the minor rails peaked at 30mV. The minor rails, however, were lightly loaded and the unit is advertised as having "extremely tight and well regulated electrical noise and ripple." Clearly the results were in specification, but "extremely tight and well regulated electrical noise and ripple" seems to imply that they are very well within these limits and the lightly loaded minor rails clearly were not. On top of that, we have that ugly "fix" to consider which, given these results, hardly seems to be worth the effort. Unless this unit was out of specification before it was implemented. On top of that, the previous Silencer 910 outperformed this unit as well. So, even though the ripple/noise values were not out of specification for this unit it should have seen more work in this area as the Z-Series 850W did better than this unit, and that "fix" is just awful for performance of this level.

The MkII 950W just represents a solid step or two backwards from previous PC Power & Cooling products in our view.
Sledeći put to "nije tačno" podupreš malo informacijama.
