We promised you more *nix fixes this week, and here they are. There are also a number of cross-platform fixes to address a few important problems.

At this stage, we are mostly interested in regressions since 10.5x, so let us know if you spot anything.

Opera 10.60.3434 Beta

This build contains a few stability fixes, and initial IME support on *nix (Linux/FreeBSD).

Linux is close to being on par with the other platforms, and right now we are very interested in crash reports on all platforms. Please use the crash reporting dialog actively to make sure we catch as many crashes as possible, and remember to add any relevant details about what you were doing at the time of the crash. We would also be interested in reports about any freezes/hangs.

This snapshot fixes a few more crash bugs that are affecting a lot of people. There is also some more work on international fonts (however, please look at the known issues below), and Geolocation using Wifi is now available for Linux.

If you are having problems with Geolocation on Linux, please include details about the driver for your wireless adapter. You can use the following command:

lspci | grep Ethernet
Note that FreeBSD still doesn't use Wifi for geolocation, and only uses the computer IP which is less accurate.

Unix fixes, stabillity, and more: Approaching 10.60 Final

We have a few more bug fixes for you to test during the weekend. Unix in particular has a decently size batch of new fixes in this build, but you will see that there are also cross-platform fixes. This includes work on Offline Applications, Geolocation, Widgets, and more.

Although we are not quite there yet, we are starting to close in on the final release of Opera 10.60 across all platforms, including Linux and FreeBSD. You can expect a few more fixes, and we will of course keep an eye out for new regressions and other serious issues.

Keep reporting those crashes, and let us know if you discover any new and serious bugs.

hide the SD and to remove the search engine bar: access Manage search engines, select every search engine in there starting with Bing (or whatever), click Edit, click Details, untick the Use as SD search engine option and make sure its the same in all, OK

Kako da resim ovo sto mi se desava na pojedinim sajtovima? Probao sam sa onim Edit Preferences... Mask as Firefox/IE, ali nema efekta.
Problem nije vezan za 10.60, isto je bilo i sa starijim verzijama.
