Bilo bi dobro ako bi postojala opcija za prosirenje speeddial-a na vise polja.

Opera Mobile 10.0.281 Beta

Yesterday we released a new version of Opera Mobile 10 beta with multi-language support, as well as an updated version of the regular release.

The multi-language build includes a font package covering several Asian languages.

In addition to this, both builds contain some minor fixes:
* Font handling fix
* Cache size is calculated at a different point in the loading process
* Reduced frequency of error messages when out of memory occurs
* RTSP support is added

I will explain this in a bit more detail.

The ability to render Asian characters in web pages depends on the system fonts installed on the device, and doesn't require the special multi-language version to be installed. However, rendering Asian characters in Opera UI elements such as history, page title, bookmarks, dropdowns, etc requires the extra font package in the multi-language version. Note also that the additional font package will only be used if the device locale matches one of the fonts included in the package.

The font handling fix ensures that Opera makes proper use of the installed system fonts for web page content. The first release did not use system fonts correctly, which caused some English language pages to display squares on devices with certain Asian locales.

The next two fixes in the list will reduce the frequency of out of memory (OOM) messages. We know that a lot of you have commented about high RAM consumption and frequent OOM messages, and these fixes should hopefully alleviate the problem somewhat.
We acknowledge that Opera requires a fair bit of memory - a full web browser will need resources to handle complex web pages. For this first beta we have focused a lot on smooth panning and UI transitions, but rest assured that we will work diligently to improve memory usage for the next release.

Finally, the updated builds have RTSP support, so that RTSP content is passed to the default media player on the device.

Known issues:
* If RealPlayer is the default media player, you will need to set the access point in RealPlayer to the same access point Opera is using.

* Soft keyboard is shown even though hard keyboard is slid out and in use.
* Only partial IME support.
* Occasional freezes under stress conditions.
* Opera Link is not included in the beta.

Today we launched Opera Mobile 10 Beta for Windows Mobile.
Hot on the heels of the Symbian/S60 release two weeks ago, this brings the new Opera Mobile browsing experience to even more users.


Opera for Windows Mobile now gets the same sleek browser UI we introduced in Opera Mini 5 and the Symbian/S60 version of Opera Mobile. Windows Mobile users will enjoy the new Speed Dials, visual tabs, better touch screen navigation, performance improvements and the very latest Opera browser engine, as capable as any desktop browser.

Known issues in this Beta include:
* No plug-in support (e.g. Flash)
* Opera Link is not included
* Progress bar will show the previous URL for some time while the new page is loading
* Some input method editors “IME” (hard and soft phone keyboards) are known not to work well with Opera because they do not comply with Microsoft's SIP and/or IME standard. When such an editor is detected by Opera, Opera will use a known (default) input method instead. An exception is EzInput v1.5, where the phone keypad and compact QWERTY, ABC mode doesn't work, but the rest of the modes work fine. We recommend upgrading to EzInput v2.0 to avoid this.
* Many IME's (input method editors) will override the Opera shortcuts
* On certain HTC phones, the system titlebar replaces the Opera titlebar after rotating to landscape.
* Certain HTC devices with TouchFLO will force Opera back to portrait mode if visiting home screen when Opera is in landscape.
* On older WM 5.0 Devices with 480x800 resolution, switching between portrait and landscape may cause display errors. This is due to lack of support for this resolution in early versions of Microsoft's driver.

The main improvements from the previous betas are:

* To view Asian languages Web pages you must download the "International version". This includes extra fonts which take approx 3Mb space after installation. See this blog post for more information.
* Only phones with Asian language packs will show Asian characters in the user interface (bookmarks etc)
* Known exceptions: Thai, Hindi (no support for Thai, Hindi glyphs in UI elements regardless of build used)
* Only partial IME (Input Method Editor) support

* Canceling a connection request does not work (dialogue will pop up again indefinitely)
* Crash if you use system edit (platform input method) instead of default on facebook.com (probably also other sites)

Baš ću da probam ovu novu Mobile verziju.

Mobile 10 beta 1 guta nenorrmalnu količinu RAM memorije i pravi osetno veći protok od Mini 5 i S60 browsera.

Probao sam je malo, bolja je naravno od prve bete, ali i dalje postoje neki problemi.
I dalje guta RAM sumanuto i protok je veliki (mada mislim za nijansu manji nego na beta 1).

Konkretno probao sam Google Wave da otvorim sa mobilnog, pošto isti radi na iPhone-u i Androidima.

Nokia S60 browser = loša java script podrška ne otvara se, odnosno prijavi da JS nije uključen iako je uključen.
Opera Mini 5 beta = otvara, prilično dobro iscrtava, i prijavljuje da je sve zbrčkano i da uradim refreš.
Opera Mobile 10 beta 2 = isto kao i mini verzija, samo iscrta apsolutno svaki deo pravilno, ali nakon refreša se zapuca.

Testirao sam na N95 8GB i imam ~81MB slobodne RAM memorije. Opera Mobile se spuštala do ~28MB i tu se zapucava jer očigledno ne barata memorijom baš najbolje. Mini verzija se spuštala do ~71MB. Nokia S60 browser nije stigao da se raširi, ali generalno guta manje memorije nego Opera Mobile, a pritom ne spada među štedljive po RAM.

Today Opera Mobile 10 moves one step closer towards final with the release of Opera Mobile 10 Beta 3 for both Symbian/S60 and Windows Mobile. New improvements include:

Windows Mobile Keypad Support:
Opera Mobile 10 Beta 3 now supports keypad devices running Windows Mobile 6 standard, and Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone devices.

Experimental Flashlite 3.1 (Windows Mobile):
This beta also brings experimental Flash support to Windows Mobile (touch devices only). However, Flash performance and usability depends greatly on how powerful your device is. On the 1Ghz HTC Touch HD2 the overall experience is quite good. On anything slower it varies from mediocre to poor.

For this reason we have disabled flash by default in the Opera Mobile settings. To enable flash goto Tools -> Settings -> Advanced and set plug-ins to "On".

Note that Opera Mobile has Click-to-play functionality for plug-ins. So even when plug-ins are enabled you activate individual Flash content by clicking on it. This to minimize the use of bandwith and CPU on content you may not be interested in.


We also wanted to take the chance to thank the Opera Mobile community for all of the great feedback and bug reporting on the Beta 1 & Beta 2 releases. The feedback has been truly helpful and has made a direct impact for us reaching Beta 3 status. We look forward to your feedback on today's beta.

Known issues include:

Both:
- Opera Link: Bookmarks saved in Beta 2 are lost when upgrading to Beta 3
- Hotmail does not work, please use the mobile version "www.hotmail.com/m"
- Dragonfly - need to do 'connect' two times in a row to get a connection working

S60:
- After permanently accepting an untrusted certificate, you get an error when trying to load the https:// page again. Workaround: In the S60 device menu go to the Settings -> General -> Security -> Certificate Management -> Trusted site certificates and delete the certificate for the problematic site

Windows Mobile:
- Flash is only a preview/in alpha state, expect instabilities, performance degradation during use
- Flash is only supported on touch devices
- Need to double-click on Flash content to view it in full-screen, another double-click to return
- right-to-left support is not complete in the UI
- On certain WM5 Smartphone/WM6 Standard devices, the dictionary is not disabled in the password field
- Unable to type special characters on Moto Q9
- Certain HTC devices with TouchFLO will force Opera back to portrait mode if visiting home screen when Opera is in landscape

Drago mi je da je izasao final, cekam ga vec neko vreme sa Beta1, beta2, i zadnjom Beta3 koja mi je najlosije radila ali doduse, jedina je imala Flash podrsku..
