Na sajtu www.hardwaresecrets.com su otkrili neke od prevaranata.

* Aerocool E85M-550: Aerocool removed the fake 80 Plus badge from their website after we talked to Ecos Consulting (the company behind the 80 Plus certification), but the product box and label continue to carry the fake badge (see next page).
* Aerocool V12XT-600: Aerocool removed the fake 80 Plus badge from their website after we talked to Ecos Consulting (the company behind the 80 Plus certification), but the product box and label continue to carry the fake badge.
* Spire Jewel Black 650 W and 750 W: Spire added the phrase, “80 PLUS Bronze compliant”, on their website, a very smooth way to deceive users, since the manufacturer is not saying that the power supply “has” certification but that the power supply is “compliant”. The joke is that we tested this 650 W power supply and it could only deliver up to 550 W. Spire removed the offending phrase after they read this article.
* Spire BlackMoon 750 W, Spire BlackMoon XP 600 W, and Spire BlackMoon XP 700 W: The Spire website says “80 Plus Bronze efficiency”. If that is true or not we can’t tell and it is irrelevant. One cannot say that a power supply has “80 Plus efficiency” without getting the respective certification. Spire removed the offending phrase and logo after they read this article.
* Spire RockIT II: This one carries a fake 80 Plus Bronze badge and the phrase, “80 PLUS Bronze Certified”, on its product page. To this date Spire hasn’t obtained a single 80 Plus certification! Spire has removed this phrase and badge after reading this article.

Jedno je sigurno a to je da imas dobro napajanje

Znash kako, iskreno Aerocool pa da pishe da ima 100% ne bih im verovao da imaju ni 60... Za Spire je josh grdja situacija... Takva napajanja bih uzeo u cenovnom rangu do 15-20 evra i to je plafon plafona

Istina je verovatno ono sto pise na 80+ zvanicnom sajtu, a to znaci za tvoje napajanje da trenutno pripada GOLD energy star-u.
U trenutku kada je napajanje izaslo na trziste, verovatno nije postojao PLATINUM energy star.

80+ Bronze je od 81% efikasnosti pri 100% opterecenja.
80+ Silver je od 85% efikasnosti pri 100% opterecenja.
80+ Gold je od 88% efikasnosti pri 100% opterecenja.
80+ Platinum je od 91% efikasnosti pri 100% opterecenja.

Kolko vidim, 18 napajanja na svetu pripadaju "platinum seriji"

A pre je cini mi se Gold bio od 91%, sad je to platinum, a od 81% je bio samo bedz 80+, a sad je to bronze, 80+ bedz je po svemu sudeci otisao u penziju.
Deluje mi logicno jer su napajanja tek od skoro napravila pravi prodor kada je u pitanju 90+ % efikasnost.

a st aje sa recimo ovim: http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6643 (CM gx750W) na kutiji ima neki bezvezni badge 80+, ne vidim da imaju sertifikat na sajtu. Evo i review (spider test) http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/917 , 76.9% na full opterecenju 80.1% na 750W al iz mreze, a na sajtu jedino sto pise je 85% efficency "High efficiency design that meets 80 Plus requirements (85% typical) " dakle i oni lazu, sad cu da im posaljem mail (btw. doticno napajanje mi je u masini vec neko vreme od kako je chief rikno )

edit: poslao sam im mail, sad gledam ove znacke, ovo je na mojoj kutiji ona osnovna bela CSCI sto su nalepili, dakle fake je. Ako je neko registrovan na HW secrets nek im "prijavi" ovaj fake, posto im je ocigledno promakao

edit 3: sad gledam na Ecos sajtu i za ovaj model stoji
RS-750-ACAA-E3 ATX12V & EPS12V 750 86.24% Bronze
na kutiji je bela znacka, a na hwsecrets napajanje nema ni blizu tih 86%. Ne kapiram...
