Conclusion:
This is the second time Fractal Design impresses me with their products and while normally this would not mean much since it is also the second product of theirs which landed in our hands it does. The Newton R2 power supplies have proved to be nothing less than excellent power supplies especially if you also take into account their price tags which are less than the competition. True i do not like that Fractal Design for example does not color code their modular connectors or the fact that their fan is all white and the grill does not have their logo on it but these are aesthetical matters which may not apply to everyone. What really matters is that the stability of the rails even under extreme stress was near excellent and that the noise coming from the fan did not even exceed 38dBA...
