Cooler Master V6 GT
6 Copper Heatpipes
Button to Change LED Color
Continuing to make the rounds here at CES, we dropped by to see Cooler Master at the new Aria Hotel at the Las Vegas City Center. The first item of note from our visit was the Cooler Master V6 GT. This is a reasonably sized heat sink with plenty of cooling power. It features 6 copper heatpipes, a nickel coated copper base, and aluminum fins. The V6 GT is not yet available but we expect to have it for review shortly. An exact MSRP wasn't given but I would guess it to cost around $80 and outperform the V8.
Legit Reviews had the opportunity to drop by Cooler Master at Aria Hotel for a sneak peek at the unannounced coolers. First looks at the Cooler Master V6 GT indicate that it’s of a decent size (not oversized), has 6 copper heatpipes, aluminum fins, a nickel plated copper base and equipped with a fan capable of speeds of up to 2200 RPM. An unique feature of the V6 GT is the push button at the side of the cooler that allows users to change the color of the LED on the heatsink. Pricing and availability has not been announced yet but it is likely to be priced at a MSRP of USD 80.
