My personal issues with NVIDIA and the issues that TweakTown on a whole have pushed right aside, the GEFORCE GTX 670 is just an awesome video card that is going to be a serious headache for AMD. The performance of the video card is really quite crazy and the fact that this is the second option for NVIDIA when it comes to single GPU video cards is bad for AMD when it has no issue competing with their strongest option; the HD 7970.

This is actually our second GEFORCE GTX 670 we have on hand as well, we've got a full retail option from someone that we'll show you on the 10th when the model officially launches. The reference based design, though, is looking good for NVIDIA and could be a clear option for people who don't want to spend big money.

To be completely honest, there's not really much more that needs to be said about the video card. Of course we're only covering the performance today so there's no bundle or anything like that to talk about. We don't have any pricing from NVIDIA so there's not much to say in that area either.

We of course know it will come in cheaper than the GTX 680 and considering the price point that hits at, we're fairly comfortable in saying that the GTX 670 is going to be a really well valued video card.

Keep an eye out for the official launch next week when we check out our first retail option. For now, though, that really wraps everything up. Again NVIDIA has done a good job with the GTX 670 and we look forward to seeing what their partners offer us in the coming weeks and months.

Gledam Kepler ovaj sta uradise oni jadna im majka pokopase i zbrzase celu arhitekturu. Nista na kraju nije ispalo od toga.
Ta serija cela ce proci najmanje zapazeno od svih. Vsync Adaptive, Boost, naslednica GTX560 preimenovana u top.
Znate koja bi prodaja bila da su izbacili naslednika GTX580 punog snage bez gluposti i ostaloga. Na kraju ce ispasti jos da Radeon ima i jacu kartu u nekim situacijama. Brljava NVIDIA. Ali to je i dobro jel su ovo zadnji put verovatno uradili ovako. Da mi daju besplatno sada kartu, kazem da mi daju besplatno uzeo bi pre Radeon, posto ne dajem pare vise ninasta sto nije EVGA, ali bi pre Radeona uzeo GTX580.
Nadam se da ce Maxvell imati ceo line-up sredjen i uredjen bez trikova koja im se sluzi NVIDIA.
I ime se lepo slaze Haswell+Maxwell dobitna kombinacija, Keplerko i Ivy u zaborav nesrecnih.
Zamislite kartu kojoj je upaljen VSync pa to je da izludis. Ja to ne koristim nikada, to se mahinalno gasi odmah.
Jos kada sam gledao onog sto je najavljivao kako srecan prica o tome ja se cudim Sta to govoris covece kakav VSync pominjes.
Nadam se da ce ih ovo opametiti taman sam zagotivio NVIDIA zbog GTX580 karte, ovo je sada antipaticno do bola.

Lepo ja rekoh da kad god se predstavlja neka nova karta nju naduju a sve ostale ispuvaju. Ovaj secnuti GK104 ispade isto brz kao i pun, a negde je bogami i brzi, fantasticno. Mozda da probaju da ugase pola cipa, mogao bi da ispadne i duplo brzi od punog. Nista vise ne verujem stranim testovima. Nista.

sve ovo me navede na razmisljanje koliko ce biti jaka GTX660/Ti. sudeci po performansama GTX670 koja je preskocila GTX580, GTX660/Ti bi 'ladno trebala da bude jaca od GTX570 i GTX 560Ti 448.

The high-end silicon is supposed to debut really soon, on a HPC event on May 10th.

When the company received first GK100, GK104 and GK107 dies, the performance of GK104 shocked the company executives. Our sources were telling us that there was a genuine surprise from CEO to PR/Marketing/Sales teams, since GeForce GTX 660 part was outperforming GTX 580 by a significant margin. The decision was made to rebrand the part into GTX 660 and 670 Ti, with GK100 taking the role of head honcho. Then, AMD came out with Radeon HD 7970, the very first part based on its Southern Islands architecture. The performance unveiled was the reason why the author of these lines got multiple calls from NVIDIA insiders asking "Does AMD have hidden cores in the die? What did they disable?" However, with Southern Islands being AMD's first compute intensive part (just like G80/Tesla and GF100/Fermi were compute milestones for NVIDIA), the company had to sacrifice some efficiency/performance for their first true GPU compute architecture.

The decision to rebrand GK107 into GTX 680/690 was made. Furthermore, the company decided to further increase the performance of the high-end die, giving birth to GK110. GK110 will debut in just three days, but this is the part that targets the HPC i.e. GPGPU community. We were told that the number of pre-orders for Kepler-based Tesla cards (Tesla 3000 Series) should exceed the overall number of Teslas shipped so far (over 150,000 units sold).

Samo najmudriji nisu naseli na "naslednika" GTX580 koga jos uvek nema jel je karta dovoljno jaka.
A imao bi i je i ja vec godinu dana da sam imao srece da se rodim u USA i da dobijem ispravnu.
Ovako nije mi se dalo, takav je zivot. Meni da imam ispravnu ASUSu da uzme kes.
