Just last December, Fractal the "Arc" housing a new product philosophy reacted with that of the previous Silent-alignment of the Scandinavians to more cooling options is away ( we reported ).
The "Mini Arc", the company has now introduced a further case, which follows this direction of blowing. This is - as the name already suggests - a smaller version of the "Arc" housing can hold the mini-ITX and Micro ATX motherboards. But still, it offers extensive cooling options. Only seven fans find room: two 120-inch models in the front, one each in the bottom and back, two 120 - or 140-mm fan in the lid and a 120 - or 140-mm fan on side panel. Already a fan ever assembled in the front, the back and cover that can be controlled with the integrated 3-channel fan controller. Also water cooling users will not miss - the cover can accommodate a dual-radiator hose provides the back-throughs. The six internal 3.5 "bays (with silicone decoupling elements) can also include SSDs, while one of the 5.25-inch bays can be used via an adapter for an external 3.5-inch drive. The upper hard drive cage can be rotated 90 degrees and, if necessary, completely removed. The I / O panel provides one USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 and audio ports. Of other features, the "Mini Arc" show gaps in the Mainboardtray for cable management and CPU cooler assembly and an additional vertical expansion card slot (eg for fan controllers). The housing is 210 x 395 x 486 mm tall and weighs 9 kg.
For price and availability of the "Arc Mini" Fractal makes no detail - even in our price comparison case is not yet available.
