Sapphire's HD 4730 exclusive to Europe

Sapphire has officially announced its HD 4730 card, which we mentioned earlier this month. It's pretty similar to Powercolor's HD 4730 launched a while back and has stirred some interesting rumors before it was finally clear that this one is based 55nm RV770LE GPU. The new HD 4730 will apparently be exclusive to Sapphire and Powercolor and limited to the European region.

The card itself features 640 stream processors, has 512MB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface and works at 750MHz for the core and 900MHz (3600MHz) for memory. Sapphire has decided to go for the dual slot cooler that is similar to the one previously seen on Sapphire non-reference HD 4850 cards. It also includes a rather large heatsink for the VRM part.

The new HD 4730 card from sapphire has DVI, D-Sub and HDMI outputs. Both Sapphire HD 4730 and Powercolor HD 4730 are listed, although Sapphire's is still not available and has a lowest price set at €77,35. Powercolor's HD 4730 PCS on the other hand is currently available and selling for €72,04.
