Beta. Oficijelni izlaze redje. A i nije obaveza da skidas svaki koji izadje. U svakom slucaju bolja je varijanta da stancuju nego da cekas mesecima. Pored nVidie, glavni konkurent je Realtek sa svojim HD Audio drajverima

Pa nije, ali jos od 9x serije svaki novi drajver donosi neko ubrzanje u najnovijim igrama. Kao i bugfixeve za vistu/w7. Stoga su oni koji igraju najnovije igre, da kazem... prinudjeni da ih skidaju!

Ja nigdje ne vidim tu power menagment opciju a imam 9600GT + sto mi se nakon izlaska iz igre desava da vent na grafickoj vrti na max iako graficka nije opterecena u pitanju su drajveri 190.38 beta.

Hmm, evo juce sam proverio kod sebe, 190.38 WHQL ima ta opcija, isto je Windows 7 x64. Verovatno nemas srece jer:

Moguce da tvoj model nije "selected" (typo?).

Windows drivers version 190.56 and Linux drivers version 190.18.03 provide beta support for OpenGL 3.2 and GLSL 1.50 (as well as full OpenGL 3.0/3.1 and GLSL 1.30/1.40 support). The driver download links are at the bottom of this page.
OpenGL 3.2 Driver Release Notes

You will need one of the following graphics cards to get access to the OpenGL 3.2 and GLSL 1.50 functionality:

Desktop

* Quadro FX 370, 570, 1700, 3700, 4600, 4700x2, 4800, 5600, 5800, Quadro VX200, Quadro CX
* GeForce 8000 series or higher; Geforce G100, GT120, 130, 220, GTS 150, Geforce GTS 250, GeForce GTX 260, 280, 285 and 295, any ION based products.

Notebook

* Quadro FX 360M, 370M, 570M, 770M, 1600M, 1700M, 2700M, 3600M, 3700M
* GeForce 8000 series or higher

This driver supports all of OpenGL 3.2 and GLSL 1.50, except for the following:

* Geometry shaders as part of the core. You can use the ARB_geometry_shader extension instead
* glXCreateContextAttribsARB() does not yet support the GLX_CONTEXT_PROFILE_MASK_ARB attribute value. In order to create a Core profile context, call glXCreateContextAttribsARB(), request OpenGL 3.2 as the version, and leave the GLX_CONTEXT_PROFILE_MASK_ARB attribute out. In order to create an OpenGL 3.2 Compatibility profile context, call the "old" glXCreateContext() entrypoint. Note: wglCreateContextAttribsARB() does support WGL_CONTEXT_PROFILE_MASK_ARB.

This driver exposes the following new extensions:

For OpenGL 2.1 capable hardware:

* ARB_fragment_coord_conventions
* ARB_provoking_vertex
* ARB_vertex_array_bgra
* ARB_depth_clamp

For OpenGL 3 capable hardware:

* WGL_ARB_create_context (updated to create profiles)

* GL_EXT_separate_shader_objects
* GL_NV_parameter_buffer_object2
* GL_NV_copy_image.txt

Evo probao sam i ove 190.56 beta i na njima isto nemam tu opciju tako da moj model ne spada u te "selected" modele.

Od momenta kads sam stavio ove poslednje drajvere primetio sam da mi je ochitavanje temperatura bilo jako chudno u speedfan-u dok u evga precision-u ta opcija je nestala. Jedan restart mashine je sve doveo na svoje mesto.

I dalje mi se desava da vent na grafickoj radi ma max iako karta nije opterecena. Ocigledno su nesto zeznuli uvodjenjem one power managment opcije.

Meni se eto desava da graficka s'vremena na vreme se optereti (vent pocne da vristi) iako komp nije opterecen uopste ... (upaljen winapm i browser :s )

Ja nemam tih problema uopshte. Naravno idle mi je sada vecji zbog same temperature sobe ali juce sam igrao TF2 recimo nekih 4 sata i kada sam izasao video sam da je temp 70c sto je samo 15-20 veca od idle-a.

A da i drzim je klokovanu kada igram igre dok mi u 2d rezimu stoji na def.

Moram priznati da nisam radio testove i slichno ali ne primecjujem da je nesto veci fps kada sam u multiplayer mode-u. To uglavnom zavisi od kolicine ljudi na serveru tj pada zbog kolicine igraca. A single igre u sustini ne igram da bih mogao da uporedim napredak i ako malo malo pa samo pisu kako je sa novijim drajverima negde bolje za 20% pa cak i do 40% !?!?

Cuvajte se 196.75 drajvera. Ja ih, na srecu, nisam instalirao:

Ovo je zvanicni NV info koji je blaga verzija onog sto se zove pregrevanje i crkavanje kartice. E sad koga ovo kaci, nemam pojma, ja ne zelim da eksperimentisem. A NV se ukopava sve vise i vise.
