2028 Russia

Few and far between are creations, such as the one we're showcasing here today. Created as a graphical demo "Russia 2028" is currently in development by trainfender and his team, and takes place in a post-nuclear Russia during the year, you guessed it, 2028. A few examples of what sets this apart from the norm is the creation of many custom assets and modification of the engine (currently) within the limits of the ModSDK, creating a unique new look within. Read on for more information and media from this promising creation, including fantastic environment shots, weapon and character models and information on what parts of the engine were modified.

In-engine Screenshots
Created with CE2 and done with the ModSDK, the modifications done by the author and his team include; changes to the light/shadow rendering algorithms, texture rendering (modified parallax etc.), several different optimization techniques applied, modified shaders and many bugs/glitches corrected. Moving onto the many screenshots uploaded now, you'll notice several dozen custom assets and other changes. Further down the track, they hope to bring this to something bigger than a mod, using either CE2 or CE3.

Podseca malo atmosfera na Stalker. Po meni previse tmurno, ili je tako zaista u Rusiji, ne znam, nisam bio. Ali da je odradjeno profi, tu nema diskusije.

covek je komentarisao to na jednom drugom forumu, rekao je da je to lokacija iz 2002-ge ili tako nesto koja je ostala netaknuta nakon nukleranog rata, otud i pepsi i kaseta isl. Nije otkrivao celu pricu, al kao satro neki rat, pa prazno pa otud i takve stvari poput kasete. Deluje kao klishe neki ali videcemo, nadam se...
